Growing up in Monterrey, Mexico, I was surrounded by creativity. My father, an architect with a keen eye for beauty, and my mother, who recognized my early passion for art, both greatly influenced me. My mother enrolled me in private art classes to nurture my talent.
One of my early artistic projects involved painting small buckets as Christmas gifts, which my mother filled with homemade cookies.
I participated in art contests, winning some of them, and went on to pursue a degree in Graphic Design in Monterrey, Mexico.
My Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design was more than an academic pursuit; it was a journey of self-discovery and artistic awakening. It provided me with the technical skills, conceptual understanding, and confidence needed to see myself as an artist. This experience inspired me to continue pushing the boundaries of my creativity and to make a meaningful impact through my art.
Later, I moved to San Antonio with my husband, where I worked as a pre-kindergarten teacher. This role led to requests from friends for custom art projects.
